River Trips

We have 3 river trips to offer, 2 are restricted to the tide and 1 is non tidal so less restrictive within launching times of the day.

You must be able to paddle before joining us on any of our trips. either by having a lesson with GLO or already be a competent paddler. We do advise a 121 lesson if you are not an experienced paddler.

Pulborough to Stopham and beyond

This a very easy paddle and very intimate, perfect for beginners, with a stop halfway for a picnic/ refreshment. Approx 3.15 hours in duration.

Arundel to Pulborough

14 miles one way trip.

This is a more demanding paddle so not recommended for beginners and starts at Arundel with a coffee and a briefing. Half way into the trip we have an onboard picnic. We then complete the journey to our final destination at Swan Bridge, Pulborough. You will then be picked up with your equipment and taken back to your vehicles at Arundel. This is a very beautiful trip albeit a little more of a challenge for those that want it. Approx 5.30 hours.

Barcombe Mills near Lewes

Great for all SUPers, non tidal with a pub stop off halfway. This is a fabulous fun and easy going adventure, with beautiful scenery and wildlife in abundance. Approx. 3.5 hours.
